F-GAS REFRIGERANT HANDLING (MAC) AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE TECHNICIANS
The European Commission has now stipulated the minimum training and certification required for (MAC) Refrigerant Handling. This means that some existing qualifications will be invalid and listed as "No longer be fit for purpose under the F-Gas Regulation".
All Vehicle Technicians now need to prepare to update their qualifications, so they meet the min qualifications. Set out in the EU legislation (EC) No 842/2006 including Commission Regulations (EC) No 307/2008.
TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT
As a dedicated Vehicle Air Conditioning specialist Motorclimate / Compressortech has chosen to provide the necessary training and qualifications required to meet the min F-Gas legislation in association with IMI Awards and ATA assessments scheme.
HOW DO I BOOK AN ASSESSMENT?
Contact us now to arrange your ATA Refrigerant Handling assessment and gain F-Gas accreditation.
ATA Technician assessment costs are from £185 + vat per Technician.
The IMI Awards / ATA Assessments can be carried out at your premises, using your equipment and facilities in a controlled environment at a mutually convenient time.
The assessment time is approx 3 hrs per Technician*. This includes a workshop practical assessment and an underpinning knowledge theory test.
This provides you with minimal lost workshop production time, no travel or overnight accommodation expenses.
* The assessments time is based on a Technician with a min 3-months Air conditioning service experience.
